Two wind tunnels located in Farnborough with no public accessible 40 years. One built in 1917 and another in 1935.
A group of artists lets the buildings speak for them selves (appart for some sparse lighting and a very minimal sound track). Upon our arrival we where given a ‘guide’ in shape of a paper plane that we had to unfold as our exploration progressed. As we entered the second building we where asked to consume the content of a paper cone before we entered the room. I was hard to see, but it consisted of a mix of crumbed crisps and the sort of candy that pops in your mouth. The propeller you see in the picture is just as massive as you are hoping it is.
