A classmate once said “Whats beyond the edge of the map? Whats on the other side that we never get to see?”. He was referring to one of those world maps that you pull down from the classroom ceiling like a roller blind. I remember him sounding rather serious about it. We where in our early teens so he should have know better (and he was generally quite a smart guy).

I wonder if Moldova is there somewhere, right on the edge where the map blurs. I know it by name but that is about it. Former Soviet?

Did a story ever change you? I can’t really tell if any of those childhood stories with good morals actually had any impact.
